Failing to build in Fedora17_64

Postby JonHeron on 31 Oct 2012, 02:36

Hi,
The game looks fun, would like to try it but so far no luck...
Make is not finding tinyxml.h because its not included in the source folder:
Code: Select all
[jon@jonnysLaptop new]$ make
Scanning dependencies of target gzstream
[  0%] Building CXX object libs/gzstream/CMakeFiles/gzstream.dir/src/gzstream.cpp.o
Linking CXX static library libgzstream.a
[  0%] Built target gzstream
Scanning dependencies of target toolbox
[  1%] Building CXX object libs/toolbox/CMakeFiles/toolbox.dir/src/ConsoleApp.cpp.o
In file included from /home/jon/Downloads/games/zeroballistics/branches/v1.10/libs/toolbox/src/ConsoleApp.cpp:5:0:
/home/jon/Downloads/games/zeroballistics/branches/v1.10/libs/toolbox/src/ParameterManager.h:9:21: fatal error: tinyxml.h: No such file or directory
compilation terminated.
make[2]: *** [libs/toolbox/CMakeFiles/toolbox.dir/src/ConsoleApp.cpp.o] Error 1
make[1]: *** [libs/toolbox/CMakeFiles/toolbox.dir/all] Error 2
make: *** [all] Error 2

Is this lib needed? or is the makefile outdated?
Cheers,
Jon

Hi

Yes tinyxml is needed, altough ZB has not been developed for 64-bit systems, but you could give it a try. These instructions might help:

kind regards,

The codes that they are trying to follow here are not same as they've been working on it even with edubirdie reviews and this is what they want to do. It will help us to know more things here for sure.
